Definitions & Scope

Behavioral Assessment refers to a structured in-person evaluation conducted by a certified specialist, lasting approximately 60–90 minutes. The assessment identifies triggers, baseline obedience level, and environmental factors. It does not constitute a diagnosis of medical conditions; clients are advised to consult a veterinarian for health-related concerns.

Modification Program includes a written plan, scheduled on-site sessions, and follow-up summaries. Results depend on consistent handler practice between sessions. Pawsdog does not guarantee elimination of all reactive behaviors, as outcomes vary by dog, environment, and owner commitment.

Socialization Training involves controlled exposure to neutral dogs, people, and stimuli under professional supervision. This is not a daycare or group play service. Sessions are limited to two dogs per handler to maintain safety and focus.

Working-Dog Consulting is available exclusively for registered security firms and residential clients with proof of liability insurance. Consulting covers scent detection foundations, controlled aggression cues, and handler-deployment protocols. All working-dog sessions require a signed liability waiver prior to the first meeting.

Cancellation & Rescheduling — on-site sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged a full session fee. Weather-related cancellations are determined by the specialist and rescheduled at no cost.

Client Responsibilities include providing a safe, clean training area, securing other pets during sessions, and following the agreed behavior plan between visits. Pawsdog reserves the right to pause or terminate a program if safety protocols are not followed.
